well hello dolly
I’m Joanne, AKA The Wedding Dolls. With a Dolly fun office based just outside Tunbridge Wells, Kent I mainly work throughout the county as well as across London, Essex, Surrey and Sussex. Over the years I have worked in events, pr and marketing, doing many different roles. From organising large festivals, conferences, product launches and parties to styling photo shoots, I have a wealth of experience in creating the stand-out event.
These days I focus my attention on planning perfect weddings where my experienced hands help couples get the wedding day they have dreamed of. Whether it’s a country mansion, an elegant castle, a family home marquee or a festival style weekend I can save couples time, money and lots of unnecessary nail biting – and that’s why I love the difference I can make!
As all my couples will tell you the same. I really take the time to get to know you and understand what it is that will make your perfect day, as well as give your guests something extraordinary to remember. Every single element of the planning is carefully thought through, from the small design details, to the timings on the day, I’m there every step of the way so you can relax, knowing your wedding plans are in safe hands. With a natural eye for detail and a supplier contact list filled with the best and most brightest suppliers, I help couples, like you, find their own wedding style and plan a wedding thats fun, fabulous and full of personality.
I have a diploma in Wedding Planning alongside my qualifications in Event Planning and have helped plan weddings from small and intimate with just 30 guests to large and lavish with over 300 guests, whatever the size, it’s an amazing feeling and such a privilege to help couples on their wedding planning journey and see all their plans come together in just the way they imagined it.
I love all things “stationery” and can usually be found in Paperchase (which aids my list writing fetish), I spend too much money getting my nails done (after years of serious nail biting), I’ve always got my lovely Roberts radio on KISS FM, and when I do get the chance to sit down and watch a film it would be a classic Doris Day musical every time.
Oh, and I love to chat!
